Days 32 & 33: Leveling the Septic Tank

…and this is what I ended up with:

It’s not pretty, but it’ll do.

And this is the finished product:

By the way, do you guys prefer videos in parts, like in this post, or is it better to combine them all into bigger videos?

  1. WOW! What an engineering hassle, but you have conquered another “Mt. Everest”. Take care of your health now.
    Proud of you my son!

    1. Thank you, I’m definitely trying to take care of my health, but it’s been a looong road that never seems to end. I think I’m on the right path now as I’m seeing signs of improvement, but time will tell.

  2. I am so glad you didn’t go under that thing! You’re definitely having lots of learning experiences. Hope you’ll feel better soon. Love you my very intelligent son!

    1. You’re right, it’s definitely been a series of learning experiences, so thank you for pointing out the silver lining.

For what it’s worth, I make a point to keep my phone on me any time I’m in the pit so that even if something were to happen, I could at least in theory call for help. Still though, it’s best to be as cautious as possible.

      Love you too 🙂

  3. I like the project in parts. It is easier to review the different phases you have completed, PLUS it might give you a good reason to take a quick break from your labor.
    Love you,
    Dad

    1. It is best to do the project in parts, as in different entries in this blog, but I’m curious if it’s best to combine all the videos for each entry into one big video before uploading it to YouTube, even though it’s easier to just upload them individually. I suppose the answer is ‘yes’ since I found it mildly annoying to have to keep scrolling and pressing play to see all the videos, but maybe that just me?
