Days 40 – 42: Wrapping up the septic
Now that the septic is completely installed and approved, all that’s left to do is to get it covered up – which means moving HUGE amounts of dirt.
I had already started in on it by hand, but I figured I’d speed things along by renting a skidsteer. Here’s how that went:

Well, I do have a Home Depot construction loan that needs used before it expires in January. So I’ll at least need to buy the building materials and put them in storage for the winter, and we’re talking a minimum of $19k in building materials, so that should keep me busy for a while. Plus maybe digging the holes for the piers.
